Welcome aboard, Zoe Gilmour!

We want to welcome our new hire, Zoe Gilmour who currently works as a Project Engineer for KPRS Hawaii. We wanted to get to know Zoe, so we asked her a couple of questions to take a look inside her world.

Q: What is involved in your position as a Project Engineer?
A: As a project engineer, I act a as go-between for subcontractors and the architect to help where I can in the field. I also like to learn about the estimating, take-offs and bookkeeping aspects of the job.

Q: Which project (or projects) are you currently involved in?
A: Currently, I am the project engineer for the Ka Makana Enhanced Shells projects and AC Modular repairs at Chaminade University.

Q: What school did you attend and what was your major?
A: I graduated from Boston University with a degree in Earth Science and a healthy love for rocks and volcanoes, great and small.

Q: What are some of your favorite things to do in your spare time?
A: In my free time, I enjoy digging up clay, making sculptures, hiking, reading, martial arts, trying new kinds of food and playing an assortment of video games.
